Lisbon-headquartered EDP, S.A., announced on October 19, 2026, that its 71.4% owned subsidiary, EDP Renewables, S.A. (EDPR), has secured a long-term Power Purchase Agreement with a global technology company.

The contract covers the clean energy generated by a 250 MWac (351 MWdc) solar project located in Arkansas, US.

Delivering for Digital Infrastructure

EDP stated that the agreement highlights the robustness of EDPR's pipeline and its ability to build long-term partnerships with major technology companies.

According to the company, the deal supplies clean, reliable energy to support the expansion of digital infrastructure across the US and showcases EDP's strategic position in North America as a leading renewable energy developer.
