Illuminate USA Reaches 10 GW Cumulative Solar Panel Production Milestone in Ohio, US

Illuminate USA has reached a cumulative production milestone of 10 gigawatts (GW) of solar modules at its manufacturing facility in Pataskala, Ohio, marking a significant development in the expansion of domestic solar manufacturing in the United States. The achievement represents approximately 18.5 million solar panels produced since the facility began operations in February 2024.

Announced on October 29, 2026, the milestone makes Illuminate USA the first single-site photovoltaic (PV) module manufacturer in American manufacturing history to reach 10 GW of cumulative production, according to the company.

Ohio Facility Operates Eight Solar Module Production Lines

Illuminate USA operates an approximately 1.1 million-square-foot manufacturing facility in Pataskala, Ohio. The site has eight production lines running around the clock, with an annual manufacturing capacity of 5 GW.

The facility produces high-efficiency solar modules for residential rooftop and utility-scale applications. Its manufacturing operations contribute to the expansion of the US solar supply chain by increasing domestic production capacity and supporting demand for American-made photovoltaic technology.

Since the first solar panel rolled off its production line in February 2024, the facility has steadily expanded its cumulative output. The latest milestone of 10 GW represents enough solar module capacity to generate electricity equivalent to the needs of approximately 7.5 million American homes, based on the company's estimate.
